Business Consultants (pre & post sales) - Power/Gas/Oil/Commodities - Energy Trading & Risk Management
We are looking for a number of technically savvy pre and post sales consultants with 3-10 years’ business experience in both the physical and financial UK and/or Continental European power & gas or commodities markets (oil, fuels, coal etc.), who are interested in joining a steadily growing company at an exciting time in their 10+ year history.
The role will involve an interesting variety of client assignments. The primary task will consist of working closely with project managers to ensure the quality delivery of energy trading and risk management solutions based around the core products. The consultants will be expected to take the lead in defining the solution for a client during the project and will take responsibility for the solutions for all business, functional and technical issues during the project.
A secondary responsibility will be get involved in presenting the energy trading and risk management products during the pre sales process and to work with the sales team and project manager to define the overall solution. Consultants will also work closely with the product management team for energy trading and risk management solutions to define the future direction of the product.
Candidates are expected to be good problem solvers and to have good verbal and written communication skills.
Previous familiarity/experience with energy trading & risk management solutions is essential and systems experience from any of the following vendors would be considered a major advantage:
OLF/Endur, Murex, Caminus/Zai*net, Allegro, Global Energy/KWI TriplePoint, Excelergy.
