This position has development and maintenance responsibility for the software programs and processes associated with our data services group. The role also provides data sourcing and analysis support for the investment support and research groups. This role reports to the Data Architect
Responsibilities
Assumes ownership of development and maintenance of software programs responsible for parsing, transforming and storing incoming investment data into our data warehouse.
Design and development data loading and access mechanisms
Data infrastructure support and analysis.
Develop and maintain applications that support and manage Acadian’s data infrastructure.
Qualifications
B.S. in computer science, engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years software development experience
Minimum 3 years experience with software development in a financial services environment
Must be skilled in Visual Studio (specifically C# and C++ )
Exposure to ASP.NET desirable
Must have strong practical experience with MS SQL Server Technologies
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
Strong software engineering fundamentals are a plus
