Exciting opportunities for Java/C++/C# Developers to move into a dynamic, fast paced and technologically innovative environment with this World Leading prestigious Investment Bank.
You will be working on Front to Back IT solutions and the front office trading systems across Equities and Fixed Income products. You will be involved in all aspects of the full project life cycle from requirements gathers, design, the actual development through to the implementation, testing and ultimately supporting the front desk. This is a long term strategic new build, although there is a need to build enhancements to the current application alongside so RAD developments are also needed.
You will be an exceptional OO Developer with a strong ability in either C++ or Java. Commercial experience working on a large, high volume, high user multithreaded application is very necessary if you are to be successful in this role. Exposure to C# is ideal, but not mandatory as training can be provided for the GUI aspects. You will need to be comfortable developing on multiple platforms although the main one is UNIX based. Your RDBMS skills must be current (but not DBA level!!).
