PURPOSE OF ROLE
Supporting the development of the mutual fund range, working in both a project management and assistant project management role, including:
Development of initial proposition in conjunction with relevant investment and distribution teams.
Preparation of business cases.
Implementation of approved projects through to completion.
Management of Mutual Fund product range, including conducting annual product reviews and general product maintenance activities.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provision of full product support across both retail and institutional distribution teams.
Development of initial product propositions, in conjunction with relevant investment and distribution teams, including obtaining and analysing relevant market research data as appropriate.
Co-ordination of sales, marketing, fund management, compliance and operations teams in the development, design, specification, launch and ongoing support of products to ensure prompt and effective execution in line with strategic business priorities.
Preparation and presentation of business cases and cost benefit analysis in relation to product development initiatives.
Conducting annual product reviews, to ensure products continue to meet investor requirements.
Maintenance of prospectus and other formal fund documentation.
Monitoring regulatory and market developments and advising on potential impacts/opportunities for the business.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels of the organisation as well as externally.
Self starter with ability to plan ahead, manage own workloads and meet business deadlines.
