Job Description
Our Client needs a software developer to help build their Matlab-based global analytics platform. This person will have coding and software engineering experience and be able to bring both computer science principles and hacking expediency to the rapid development of their toolset and development environment.
Required Skills
Developer will be responsible for maintaining and creating new functionality within our client's application.
Developer must be proficient with regard to coding Matlab applications.
Developer must be proficient with regard to coding C# / .Net / Java applications
Developer must be willing to work in a fairly independent fashion as this person will be working directly with the users of the application.
Developer should have experience with dealing with large data sets.
Will be responsible for coordinating with Front Office DBA and ETL resources to migrate existing data structures to a standardized data warehouse.
Job Requirements:
BS or BA degree
Ability to work with Front Office Staff (i.e. Traders, Resources)
Multi-tasking
Excellent communication skills and working independent
