Objective Paradigm caters to financial market clients. We seek top-tier candidates for some of the best proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, and brokerages in Chicago and nationwide. We are currently seeking software developers for a client that offers exceptional benefits, perks, bonuses and work environment.
C++, C#, Java Developers Needed
Our client is looking for software developers to work on the current and next generation electronic trading systems that drive trading operations. There are multiple openings on this high-profile team responsible for the firm's primary trading application. Team culture is built around individual empowerment and collaborative work. The work style leans toward agile methods, but they are not dogmatic about it. They simply apply tools that work well, such as continuous integration, unit testing, frequent “demoing” and delivery, and team reflections. If you're passionate about developing great software and pragmatic about how you approach it, then we'd love to hear from you.
Qualifications
Most of their team's code is written in C#. However, they are practical about programming languages, and understand that a truly talented developer can pick up new languages quickly and naturally so applicable OO experience will be considered.
An electronic trading development background is desired.

Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis.
Excellent communication skills.

Strong analytic and design capabilities. Ability to think about and decompose a problem into simpler parts.
Pragmatic view of process. Commitment to continuous improvement of the team's approach to software development.
