Top tier investment bank seeking a Senior Developer for Fixed Income Products. The purposes of this role are to architect, design, and drive the development efforts of various Front Office applications and components as a senior member of their Global Fixed Income Trade Capture team.
This position requires the ability to contribute independent ideas and work effectively within a global team to rapidly implement solutions and deliver production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable. Part of your role will be to lead the design and implementation of various application components within the team while also leading the evaluation of third party products to make buy v. build decisions for Fixed Income products. Requirements: - Experience with Fixed Income Front Office activities (e.g. trade entry and position management). - Good understanding of Fixed Income products. - Expert level OOD/OOP in Java, C#, and/or C++ on the server side. - Strong knowledge of messaging technologies (RMDS, RV, JMS) - Ability to develop front-end as well (GUI - Swing and SWT). - Expert knowledge of vendor development products and open source initiatives and tools. - Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise quality applications. - Extensive experience working with Fixed Income front office applications. - Experience with ‘Agile’ style development.
