TITLE: FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of the Financial Reporting area. This will involve allocating tasks, ensuring high-quality preparation of financial statements, communicating with internal departments, coordinating fund set ups, communicating with regulators and external parties, and training in new staff members. Specific responsibilities will include:
Responsible for day to day operations in the Financial Reporting area
Acting as a client escalation point for all matters relating to financial reporting
Preparing, reviewing and filing statutory reports and returns
Reviewing and updating department procedures
Responsible for the review of new fund prospectuses
Assisting in the evaluation and development of enhancements to the accounting system
Managing feedback, appraisal and career planning of members of the Financial Reporting Team

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in financial report preparation and must be fully qualified accountants. A minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience is also required – good leadership skills are essential. As this position requires a strong attention to detail, applicants must be organised and self-motivated.

SALARY: €70k+
