COMPANY PROFILE: One of the largest and most respected financial services groups in Ireland seeks a Credit Underwriting Manager for its South Dublin office.

TITLE: CREDIT UNDERWRITING MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Underwriting credit proposals and managing the assessment of credit applications.

Maintaining a quality portfolio.

Manage and underwrite large, sub standard or difficult cases within assigned time limits.

Preparing Credit proposals and presenting those to credit committee.

Manage team of underwriters.

Coaching and developing other staff members.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Proven ability and credibility in credit management and underwriting.

A demonstrable track record of achievement.

You must have good people management skills.

Have a thorough knowledge of credit assessment.

Highly motivated.

Have or be working towards an industry qualification.

Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

SALARY: €50k - €60k
