The ideal candidate will possess the following: • Solid experience developing in C++ on large projects from beginning to end. • Windows is preferred, but Unix is OK if programming skills are strong enough. • Development experience in such areas as low-level component libraries, server-side components, networking, middleware and communications and pluses. • Experience in development of multithreaded client/server real-time applications. • Experience using systems programming techniques such as multi-processing, multi-threading including thread synchronization, inter-process communication, and Windows System Services are preferred. • Must have strong technical and analytical skills • Knowledge of fixed income trading a major plus • Must have an interest in working on the Trading floor with Traders. • Must have an interest in learning Fixed Income markets on the job. • Work well within a team environment – but possess the ability to take ownership of projects • Bachelors degree required (Masters degree or higher preferred) • Excellent oral and written communication skills For more information or to apply, please contact Sunny Patel at spatel@gromwellit.com
