The Role:
As Vice President of the Oil & Gas team, you will be responsible for the following:
Take charge or assist in the origination of M&A, IPO or equity re-financing assignments.
Solid understanding of the UK Listing Rules or AIM rules as appropriate as well as familiarity of the Takeover code.
Mentor junior members of the team on all aspects of deal mechanics and advise on best practice at all times.
Work in liaison with Accountants, Lawyers & the Investment community on all client matters, ensuring timely completion of work and effective project planning.
Deputise for Senior Management as and where necessary.
The Candidate:
A background in Equity Capital Markets within a bulge bracket investment bank or Corporate Finance advisory experience within a brokerage.
A minimum of 3-5 years deal experience would be expected and very familiar with the regulatory requirements affecting all transactions. (AIM Qualified Executive or Financial Sponsor would be ideal).
Excellent financial acumen with strong financial modelling, transaction management, company valuations skills.
Excellent leadership qualities and proven people-management capabilities.
Driven and goal oriented approach.
