Job Purpose: Operate as SFS Product Sales Consultants across Europe in building product revenues by winning deals through superior product knowledge, packaging and sales expertise. Job Background/context:
The position sits within Global Transaction Services – SFS Investor Sales - European Securities and Funds Services. The team plays an important role in securing the further growth of the SFS franchise in the region. This particular role requires a young and talented person, attracted by the opportunities in the Investor segment and able to leverage a personal contact network in order to build pipeline and subsequently win deals. Key Responsibilities: A) Proactively provide Product Sales Expertise to the GTS Client Management Organization Analyse the competitive landscape, working with the Sales Consultants and client management to identify opportunities Work closely with the Product Sales Consultants to become fully certified by the Product Organization in selling the relevant family of products Build and maintain product expertise and regularly update product knowledge as appropriate Work with the Product organization in the development of product positioning statements and sales materials Support and lead the selling process of product solutions against customer opportunities sourced by the Client Management Organization Excel in communication skills, demonstrate good coordination and networking ability B) Manage the Deal Pipeline Process from Identification through to Implementation Work with product to package the best solution to meet the customer's needs Learn how to drive and support multi-product opportunities through the deal review process Manage internal communication and pipeline update process keeping all parties informed and use CRM as appropriate. Drive client communications including RFPs and pitch books in coordination with RFP unit, Sales Consultants and client managers Re-evaluate cross sell opportunities that relate specifically to the deal Interface with the product organization on deal pricing and coordinate cross-product pricing Ensure efficient and effective transition post-mandate to the implementation team C) Reflect the needs of our customers back to the Product Organization Communicate gaps/opportunities in our delivery of Product solutions to clients Communicate gaps/opportunities in our sales positioning materials to the Product, Marketing and Training

Able to meet a $5MM annual sales target Ability to generate deal pipeline of $30MM Knowledge/Experience: Working exposure to the funds and securities industry Experience in client management and client relationship building Sales experience Able to work independently Ability to engage and connect with seniors (both clients and Citi) Skills: English fluency (written and spoken) is essential. Good analytical skills. Have strong communication and client handling skills Ability to leverage established network of Investor contacts in the region Good experience of working in a Windows environment.
