Our client is a European VC investor which has a number of early stage technology funds under management. It has raised a new European technology fund in partnership with one of Europe’s leading research agencies. As a result, it has first refusal access to some of the best technologies being developed in 17 countries throughout Europe. It is looking to hire Investment Executives to join the team. Candidates should have prior VC experience and be able to demonstrate a track record in technology investing. In addition to English, an additional European language (ideally German or Scandinavian) is essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
Direct VC investing experience – a demonstrable track record in technology investing
A working knowledge of small, high growth companies would be an advantage
European Languages – preferably German or Scandinavian languages
A European network
Technology literate and familiarity with Intellectual Property
Genuine enthusiasm for VC, and the entrepreneurial environment
Compensation would be in line with market expectations including bonus and carry
