Key Result Areas 1. Work with the AP Debit team to manage the regional Debit Product strategy and overall product and platform management of Visa Debit solutions in Asia Pacific. 2. Guide and assist country management (in Visa AP Markets) in the development and execution of market specific product strategies and plans 3. Ensure the provision of world-class product subject-matter knowledge, expertise to clients (primarily banks), retailers, regulators in debit payments solutions 4. Work with the AP Debit team to ensure the innovation and product development of Visa Debit Solutions, including the implementation of new platform features and benefits to create enduring competitive advantage for Visa in Asia Pacific. 5. Drive market development ensuring high quality sales, financial and product support to the country teams to enable securing profitable or strategic debit product opportunities 6. Manage the Visa debit product budget, implementation and tracking of market initiatives, strategies and tactics Decision Making - Contribute to debit payment strategy formulation - regional, market and alternative segments.
- Propose market development plans and initiatives for Region / Countries.
- Oversee execution of initiatives required to meet key result areas.
- Recommend and secure approval of product development / enhancements / usage initiatives
- Negotiate alliances with clients and industry suppliers
Reporting Relationships - Regional Head of Debit Product SKills & knowledge Professional - MBA or advanced professional degree
- 7+ years in consumer banking in a product management/ business development role of which at least 4 years should be in Debit Product
