FaradayClark Recruitment is a europewide recruitment company and in the name of our client, a global Asset Management organisation, we are looking for their German Headquarters in Frankfurt, for a Head of Operational Support & Service Management (m/f)
Main tasks:
Evaluate the quality of service thanks to KPI. Coordinate and moderate regular service reviews more largely, monitor the relationship with the correspondent custodian bank (scope, level of service, risk); recommend and put in place service improvements
Contribute to Management Information (MI/KPI) reporting for the custodian bank, other third parties and relevant internal parties
Responsible for ensuring that contractual agreements and Service Level Agreements are in place and updated
Put in place all major evolutions/changes in the service provided by the custodian bank (new/extended services, linked to new products, regulatory changes etc.)
Identify and manage process risks based on defined risk parameters. Evaluate and analyse within the Risk Control & Compliance Committee
Monitoring and Oversight of custodian relationships, contribute to ensure consistency in the process, between locations and/or providers
Check providers invoicing
Further Responsibilities:
Day to day point of contact for any operational requests / issues / exceptions in respect of fund administration and accounting, trade support, middle office by the custodian bank and other in- and external parties
Assisting in the resolution of settlement trade queries as escalated by the outsourced service provider
Execute some operational tasks like set up new funds with custodians, tax fund documentation etc.
Define and put in place operating models and processes
Monitor changes in industry legislation and best practice
Participate in, and assist with, the creation of and changes to products and new operational procedures including liaising with Change Management, Product Engineering, Fund Range Management, Compliance, in- and external Auditors and Portfolio Management
Manage and deliver or support various business initiatives and dedicated operational business projects
Profile:
You have a completed degree or similar qualification
You have at least 4 years relevant work experience and extensive technical expertise in operational areas (fund accounting, fund administration, trade support and asset servicing) in a similar type of role
You have founded knowledge of asset management business
You have verbal and written communication skills in German and English
You have a good project coordination and communication skills
You have a proven track record in dealing with external providers
You are an analytical thinker and a problem solver
Ideally you have experience in managing a small team
You are pro active and a decision maker
