As a Relationship Manager/Client Advisor for this leading global financial services firm, you will work for an organisation combining the world’s leading wealth management business, a leading retail bank, and one of the top private client businesses in the USA.
The HNW business in Wealth Management seeks to provide wealth management solutions for clients with investable assets of £2-20million.
You will be responsible for acquiring and building excellent new client relationships, by developing prospects directly or via established networking practices by leveraging the brand name. You will create individual Wealth Management relationships based on an understanding of client needs both initially and on an ongoing basis. You will apply innovative solutions to client needs using the bank’s worldwide resources working closely with Product and Marketing specialists. You will build and develop a profitable book of clients in the High Net Worth segment.
Key requirements:
Proven history of experience in private or investment banking or other private client experience, including managing client portfolios and proven working knowledge across all asset classes
Ability to prospect new clients and work collaboratively within a team
Conscientious individual with a high level of attention to detail
Strong Client relationship and negotiation skills
Entrepreneurial flare and a high level of commitment to the role
Able to execute role commercially yet maintain client’s interests
A working knowledge of UK personal taxation
Ideally of graduate or MBA calibre with existing private client qualifications such as SIC, IMC or AFPC
Well organised and disciplined approach to follow through on tasks
Confidence when dealing with sophisticated clients and complex investment portfolios
Ability to proactively review existing portfolios and initiate ideas to maximise investment strategies for clients
Knowledge of strategic asset allocation and investment markets.
Focus on maximising revenue out of client base where appropriate to client needs
Used to meeting deadlines and working in a target orientated environment
