New Jersey Asset Management firm is seeking a Financial Database Analyst to work with Financial Market Data sources and applications within their Investment Technology Group.
This role will be responsible for vendor market data operations [the feeds, database, processing and utilization] to support in-house Investment Research, Portfolio Management and Performance Reporting. Applicants should have strong database skills (SQL Server, Oracle), ETL, complex SQL query writing and stored procedures. In addition, the successful candidate will have some exposure or knowledge of financial databases (e.g., Compustat, IBES, S&P’s, or Thomason Financial and/or Russell’s Indexes) and/or knowledge/exposure to market data aggregation products (e.g., FactSet, Market QA, etc.).
