Large Bank is looking for an experienced Basel II Data Analyst to lead a new team providing vital analytical support and playing a pivotal role in the control governance, analysis and delivery of the Bank’s monthly Basel II risk reporting process.
Responsibilities include:
o Responsible for managing and delivering to the Risk elements of the Capital Reporting Working Day Submission Schedule and providing analytical support for Risk/Finance reconciliation o Providing analysis and internal reporting of the developing monthly Basel II risk data submissions o Provide auditable control and governance oversight of Capital Reporting data submission to the Group Credit Risk Engine o Constant liaison with a complex set of stakeholders
Experience desired: o Business and Data analytics as core areas of expertise, with knowledge of key analytical disciplines o Knowledge and awareness of Basel 2 o Understanding of the business drivers behind Basel 2, e.g. Risk Weighted Assets, Probability of Default etc
