A leading international reinsurance group which prides itself in being the world's oldest professional reinsurer and one of the few with an 'AAA' rating is a seeking an Actuary to join their organistaion.
The tasks of this position include:
Generating and following up new business initiatives.
Providing product development, policy wording, profit-testing and other actuarial support to life insurance companies in Japan.
Coordinating and preparing proportional and non-proportional quotations in line with the companies underwriting guidelines and quotation tools.
Preparing treaty wordings, statistical analysis and participating in various projects.
Monitoring technical accounting figures.
Liaising with the relevant teams in our global offices.
Regular client contact.
Duties Include:
Product pricing / development / management.
Marketing of reinsurance services.
Development of client relationships.
Treaty underwriting.
Negotiating.
The successful candidate will also possess native level japanese, excellent business English and Japanese Actuary qualifictaion.
