• Exposure to securities finance and derivatives
• Prime Services: Provide Legal and Documentation Support in the areas of Securities Lending and Borrowing, Repo etc.
• Hedge Fund Financing: Provide legal and regulatory advice, documentation and support affecting the hedge fund business in the private bank; in particular in the areas of derivatives, prime brokerage, repo and other financing agreements.
• Derivatives: Bespoke and cutting edge derivative structuring (Provide legal an documentation support in the structuring of highly complex derivative solutions to a variety of investment and private bank client base)
• Negotiation of all contracts related to derivatives including Swiss, European, French and English law governed agreements
• Manage legal and documentation issues for a broad range of simple to complex financial products in the areas of Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Credit Derivatives, Equity, Commodities etc.
• Advisory role vis-à-vis a variety of internal stakeholders including, Traders and Sales Personnel, Credit Risk Management, Financial Accounting, Collateral Management Unit, Mid and back offices, Internal Audit etc.
• Legal and documentation support related to exotic trades and complex trading structures
• General legal and documentation support in the areas: Execution, Research, Gold loans and Islamic Financing

You offer

• A degree in law (Bachelor, Masters, JD, LLM etc.)
• Solid transaction experience across a wide range of financial structures and agreements
• Understanding master agreements (e.g. SMA, ISDA, GMSLA, GMRA, EMA, Prime Broker documentation; structured finance experience a plus)
• Understanding of netting issues
• Hedge Fund experience (desirable)
• Strong analytical and writing ability and understanding of core operation responsibilities and processes excellent presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, self-motivated and good attention to detail
• Ability to build and maintain internal client relationships within all levels of the firm
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently
• Fluency in German and English
• Strong academic credentials
