Leading US investment bank is seeking a dynamic individual to head up their Prime Services Product Control division. This business area offers a full suite of products from traditional prime broker platform including Stock Borrow Lending to varied synthetic products such as Equity Swaps, Index Arbitrage, CFDs, Warrants and related hedging products. Reporting to the Head of Product Control for Asia Ex-Japan, you will form a key member of the senior management team. Responsibilities will include the following:
•Manage and develop the Asia Prime Services Product Control Team
•Analyse the business for both the desk and finance, including capital planning and balance sheet forecasting
•Work closely with Middle Office and IT to optimize and maintain standards around booking financial results
•Liaise with the Business to improve support structure
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and experience:
•At least 7 years’ product control experience, with a good understanding of Equities business
•Strong PC knowledge, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
•Strong communication and inter-personal skills
•Outstanding business acumen, analytical skills and attention to detail
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines
•Ensure the daily P&L is reflected accurately in the books and records, and maintaining high level of control
