Product controller needed for Structured Credit Desk at top tier investment bank. Must have prior derivative/exotic product exposure preferably in Credit.
My client is a leading figure in the Structured Credit market and as such requires high calibre candidates with proven industry experience to join an already impressive team of professionals. Key responsibilities of the role include:
Assesment of new business proposals - discussing iniatives with stakeholders across the business including Front Office, Risk, and Operations.
Act as a key contact between Product Control and Business Management, Middle Office, Finance and Risk.
Management of Daily and Monthly PnL and BSM including validation of all assets & liabilities through Independant Price Testing.
High level involvement in all new systems initiatives and projects including definition of functional specifcations, requirement gathering and participation in implementation.
Required experience and key competencies:
A minimum of 12 months of experience in a line product control role.
Exposure to technical products preferably structured credit or exotic derivatives.
Knowledge of calculation of reserves, IPV and trade review highly advantageous.
Part or fully qualified ACA (or equivalent) preferable but not exclusive.
