Human Resources Director for San Antonio based U. S. Global Investors, Inc. an entrepreneurial mutual fund company founded in 1968. Generalist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, insurance administration, recruitment, training, benefits, workers’ comp. and oversight of 401(k) program.
Responsible for the administration of the Human Resources function to include recruitment, training and occasional immigration processing. Oversees the administration of orientation and industry educational training for all levels of personnel. Oversees creation and maintenance of employee personnel files, health benefits program; employee evaluation program; video library; compiles and prepares supervisory reports; oversight administration of 401(k) program; advises employees in interpretation of policies, procedures and benefits. Works under consulting supervision interpreting company guidelines and creating policies as required. Maintains confidentiality of all records. Requires a degree in Human Resources and five plus years in an HR management position. SPHR designation, mutual fund industry, investment or brokerage environment experience required.
