In all, we handle over 560 000 transactions a day, to the tune of €1700 billion. Because we make the settlement process quicker and more secure, banks and other financial institutions are able to react faster, strike more complex deals and trade in more places at once. With almost 80 different nationalities, 1500 financial institutions on six continents buying and selling securities on the world’s busiest stock exchanges, and thousands of transactions to make every single hour, we offer a challenging and truly international work environment for talents from all sorts of academic walks of life.
Your Role:
Euroclear has embarked upon an exhaustive enterprise-wide business transformation process using “Lean” principles, and by taking a holistic view on all management processes – including: - a clear articulation of the ‘voice-of-the-customer’,
- the analysis of performance management and objective setting practices,
- the assessment of the organizational structure and the skill building system,
- an in-depth view on mindset and behavior on top of structured process re-engineering.
The goal of this transformation is to create an operational environment, across all Divisions and business domains, that is nimble and flexible enough to support the further global build-out of the world’s leader in post-trade processing.
This transformation process is one of the organization’s top priorities to enable the pursuit of its continued double-digit growth objectives. An initial roll-out of the transformation across several operational teams has been very successful, and resulted in higher productivity, better quality and increased employee engagement.
To help steer the further roll-out of this transformation, we are currently looking for outstanding management consultants who have gained a strong experience in advisory services, and who we offer the unique opportunity to be actively coached and further strengthen their skills in all aspects of general management.
The selected candidates will join a team of colleagues to assist a business group to structurally transform its operational environment, and act as a coach and change agent towards the business group’s managers. The successful candidates will at the same time be thought leaders and change agents, with the required people management skills to motivate business groups to fundamentally alter their mindset.
Management Consultants will be taught advanced change management skills in line with a transformation methodology that Euroclear has developed together with McKinsey & Co, and assume responsibility for all aspects of the change program – ranging from value stream analysis to organizational review, advanced problem solving and assessment of underlying people behaviors.
The successful candidates will during 12-week transformation cycles, interact on a daily basis with all levels of management of the group they are transforming. They are exposed to a wide variety of topics, problems and domains and have a unique view on the operations of the different Euroclear Divisions (ranging from IT, HR, Finance to banking operations), its product offering and its strategic intentions.
It is expected that, in line with Euroclear Policy, this position leads after 2-4 years to a different leadership role within the Euroclear Group.
Your Profile:
The successful candidates will have: - Outstanding English communication/presentation (both verbal and in writing) and negotiation skills;
- World-class analytical skills;
- Drive and energy, strong entrepreneurship;
- Strong emotional intelligence.
In addition, the candidate will be stress-resistant and feel comfortable to enter into dialogue with internal and external senior managers.
Management Consultants will have a track record of results. An experience of 2 to 5 years with world-class advisory services, either as external or internal consultant, can be positive.
Language skills:
English
Education:
It is expected that the successful candidate has an advanced degree from a leading university, or similar through relevant experience. An MBA from a leading institution can be a plus.
We Offer:
You will be joining a dynamic best of class environment, offering extensive on- and off-the-job trainings. You will get the chance to develop expertise, project and/or people management competencies in an informal but supporting work atmosphere. Your success is our success. In addition to a competitive compensation package, a company car and attractive benefits, in line with your experience and commitment to progress, you will enjoy our extensive well being at work programme.
