The candidate will be a top-ranked analyst within the investment banking department of a leading financial institution, ideally with exposure to leverage finance, financial sponsor or M&A transactions.
Education - a degree from a leading university or equivalent work experience.
Overall the candidate must have strong quantitative skills, including the ability to build and run financial models and perform detailed analysis. The candidate will also have a good business judgment and be able to critically analyze diverse businesses. Exposure to and knowledge of buyout activity is important, wither via experience of advising private equity clients in M&A, of working on leverage finance transactions, or performing due diligence exercises.
