The role is responsible for leading a small team in the delivery of of independent, objective and insightful assurance on the business. You will gain exposure to a broad range of funds and asset classes both domestically and internationally. You will be expected to foster a risk aware culture ensuring good governance and controls.

Key Deliverables

• Prepare the Internal audit plan with senior management and deliver the plan through working effectively and collaboratively with the executive.
• Lead and participate in audits promoting transparency and risk resolution through follow up and monitoring of outcomes.
• Manage and mentor team members ensuring high standards of delivery.

Critical to success in this visible role will be the ability to build credibility and relationships with the business and influence outcomes. Experience gained in financial services is essential and preferably within funds management / wealth management. It is envisaged that you will have 10 years plus experience in external audit or an Internal audit with the relevant product experience and qualifications (CA,CPA, CIA,CISA,CFSA). The role will provide close support to the Head of Audit and has influence and scope for progression.
