The Role

Financial Management brings together project and finance function expertise with the technical know how of a big 4 accounting firm. Within FS Advisory, the FM function will address any issues on the CFO agenda, helping Finance functions emerge from a period of over-focus on regulatory issues and projects to re-partner with the business and drive growth.

The Person

• Taking a lead role in executing large client programmes, delivering the highest quality service to our clients, meeting and exceeding their expectations.

• Developing new client relationships and helping to enhance the reputation of KPMG as advisor of first choice.

• Playing a lead role in helping to develop our core propositions, products and services to meet client needs.

• Taking a key role in the growth of the team and supporting the development of other team members.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate is likely to have the following qualifications, skills and experience: • Solid experience in sourcing strategy and Implementation support.

• Experience across Financial Services specifically in retail banking and life insurance, preferably within a leading advisory firm, banking/insurance organisation or a shared service environment

• An accounting qualification is desirable

• Demonstrable ability to think through issues and arrive at solutions.

• Good interpersonal skills

• An ability to communicate well in writing and to present to both clients and on conferences

• Self-motivated someone who works well on their own initiative and as a member of a team
