My client is a leading city based asset management house. They currently have a requirement for an investment writer with extensive knowledge and experience of Fixed Income to join their established team. Alternatively a credit analysts who can demonstrate strong experience of producing detailed investment
commentaries will also be considered. An investment writer is required for a global asset management company with an excellent reputation, both in the UK and abroad. The role of investment writer is within the investment communications team, which is one of a team of professionals within investment communications, product managers, & product development.
This role is for a writer with a strong knowledge of fixed income and the ability to communicate issues which affect fixed income fund performance well with a broad range of clients (from private investors to professional investors). In addition, the successful candidate will be able to produce creatively written sales-orientated pieces which enhance the firm's fixed income marketing effort.
Key areas of responsibility will be to research, write and edit investment commentary for a wide range of marketing material, press articles and statutory reports on the firm's funds for clients, potential clients and the financial press. This will involve writing appropriately for a range of different audiences - from institutional to retail investors (ranging from private investors to asset managers).
This individual will have strong writing and editorial skills and experience - preferably as a bond specialist investment writer. Knowledge of, and an interest in, the global investment industry is prerequisite, as is a very strong understanding of bond and equity markets and the economic dynamics and other factors which drive them.
