These services include corporate finance and strategic advice and the arrangement of term loan and structured credit facilities for mining corporates and projects. The Mining & Metals Group teams are based in London, New York, Sydney, Shanghai and Moscow and leverages off their other core offices in, Sao Paulo, Dubai, Hong King, Singapore and South Africa.

Key Tasks
Day-to-Day support to the Mining & Metals team in market, company and opportunity analyses
Preparation of company and asset valuations applying various valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow models, peer group equity market valuations, comparable transaction valuations, etc together with analyses of the financial statements, cost of capital and other relevant market data
Industry research and preparation of company and asset profiles and financial and technical analyses for both deal origination and execution
Assisting in transaction execution for example on divesture mandates the preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis and management of information, data rooms and due diligence exercises
Assisting with due diligence as appropriate
Preparation and execution of compliance related documentation on each client/transaction
Attending mining company presentations and conferences as appropriate
The role often involves working to tight deadlines and working on highly sensitive projects across various time zones and in conjunction with professionals in other offices
Key Attributes
The role will require 2-3 years experience within a corporate finance advisory role, preferably post ACA qualification, (or equivalent experience within the mining and metals sector with exposure to financial or transaction related aspects of the sector) and should be able to demonstrate involvement in a variety of transaction execution mandates
Experience in financial analysis and be competent in financial modeling
Strong academic record with a demonstrably high degree of numerical, verbal and analytical competence, preferably gained in a corporate finance role
Knowledge of and experience in the mining and metals industries is preferable S
trong written and verbal communication skills and positive attitude
An ability to work under pressure and meet challenging time deadlines
A team player with strong inter-personal skills
The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
