Blue Chip Global Financial Services Group based in Canary Wharf, London, now looking for a Commercial Performance Analyst to join their Commodities Planning & Performance team. The position is part of a team accountable for the compilation and reporting of our performance (consolidated Global Gas Trading Business and Global Oil Trading Business results) for messaging and informing the Executive Team on a number of outputs. The post holder will need to communicate widely and effectively with the various Regional businesses and support Functions to accurately compile data and ensure proper alignment. The role will focus on the accurate reporting of resources around Costs and Capex that are key to effectively deliver our Forward Agenda; however, the role will also support other activities as needed around: - The preparation of the quarterly Operational Performance Review packs - Supporting and providing performance content into the monthly Executive Meetings This role will provide extensive exposure to, and interaction with all business control teams, supporting functions, Executive Teams and our Partner Segments in Refining & Marketing and Exploration & Production. This role is an excellent developmental opportunity for a finance and business professional that will provide challenges and exposure to the Performance Management community and business leadership. The role will report to the Performance Manager in the Commodities Planning and Performance Team. Key responsibilities will include: - Cost and Capex reporting and control - planning and forecasting - Coordinate Functions and Regions reporting and allocations - Tracking of Cost Saving Initiative and reporting to the Executive Team - Support the preparation of our quarterly OPR (Operational Performance Review) - Ad Hoc presentations/reviews as they arise The ideal candidate will be a confident individual, degree educated and have a formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) together with a minimum of 2 years of Performance Reporting experience. You will need good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work with and influence a diverse range of business leaders and stakeholders together with good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
