The purpose of the role is to successfully contribute to the growth of the private client business by marketing our client's products, particularly the managed portfolio service, to the Intermediaries and professional community (accountants, lawyers and trustees) in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and other offshore jurisdictions. Potential candidates must have a strong track record in UK sales within a successful investment management business. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of increasing market share across UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
•Create and develop new relationships with the professional firms (accountants, lawyers and trustees) in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man with the intention of becoming a preferred supplier
•Maintain and develop existing relationships within the professional community
•Plan and execute sales campaigns nationwide
•Further strengthen the client's profile in the high net worth area
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
•Have at least five years relevant experience, having performed a similar role in a blue-chip organisation
•Ideally be a well known name with an established reputation
•Be sales oriented with good product knowledge particularly of managed portfolios and alternative asset management
•Be a team player that is able to gain the respect of his/her peers
•Possess good sales and client relationship skills
•Possess a successful track record of winning and developing accounts
•Possess a clear understanding of investments
•Graduate level
•Be FSA regulated and qualified
•IMC or equivalent investment sector qualification and registered
