This role will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to traders to assist with trading decisions and strategies of this international Equity Options and Derivatives trading business. Your main activities will revolve around researching relevant news, dividends and corporate actions for Japanese stocks.
Key responsibilities: Research and Communication Covers all possible areas of market information including:
Overnight world market events
Overnight stocks/commodity movements
Overnight stock/commodity news
Maintain up to date information regarding company specific news, corporate actions and risks
Read broker reports
Annual reports
Market announcements/notices
Market Information
Understanding relevant country specific laws/regulations
Analysis - to incorporate everything under Research and Market Information to make company assessments:
Recognise potential takeover targets and corporate actions
Company results, intra day news analysis
Company earning forecasts especially pertaining to dividends and capital restructure/capital management
Company revenue breakdown and segments.
Key requirements:
Japanese language skills is a must
Recent graduate with strong academic results
Graduate with up to one years experience will be considered.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
