Beyond the numbers
Our Pensions Proposition is a firm-wide initiative in which our pensions actuaries actively participate. This cross service-line multi-disciplinary offering focuses on providing holistic solutions to the business challenges faced by our clients. You’ll be working for a firm which values your area of specialism, and you’ll work alongside some the top practitioners in the field.
This is an opportunity to join our established pensions team in London, with a focus on developing our international offering. You will be able to make a difference here by really influencing and shaping the strategic direction of our practice.
As an International Actuary in our Pensions and Benefits practice, you will:
Lead international pension and benefits work-streams, often as part of wider business critical projects, for example merger & acquisition advisory, audit support and modelling;
Develop and manage long-term international client relationships;
Play a key part in practice management, including recruitment, coaching, mentoring and appraisals;
Lead the growth of the international pension practice, by networking externally and internally, and driving forward new business proposals and presentations.
To qualify, you will have:
Deep knowledge of the international pensions industry and a proven track record of applying your knowledge in practical and commercial situations;
Extensive experience in leading client relationships and client-facing advisory projects;
Knowledge of accounting standards and their impact on pensions advice;
Experience of managing and leading teams;
A recognised actuarial qualification.
