Our Client is a major investment bank with a highly efficient Storage Team. The main scope of work will be to provide storage, to monitor the performance of the production systems, to deploy new storage arrays and switches, as well as planning for future storage capacity. The role will also involve interaction with customers, dealing with escalations and close out problems in a timely manner.
Skills/Experience required (compulsory):
EMC DMX & EMC Clarion (storage allocation);
NetApp Filer Administration;
IBM and HP Tape libraries;
Deployment of fibre switches (McData, Cisco)
Zoning, Connectrix, Fabric Manager
Skills/experience preferred (not compulsory):
Tivoli Storage Management;
EMC Centera Administration;
Write scripts and automate common or repeatable tasks
