Your tasks

• Management of restructuring projects (hands-on-work!
• Balance sheet restructuring, refinancing/ recapitalization of complex financed companies
• Operational restructuring (all functions)
• Definition of exit strategies
• Conduct of negotiations in steering committees
• Bank/ creditor negotiations
• Carve out and post merger projects
• Operational work in the (portfolio) companies as interims-manager (CFO/ CRO) 
• Deal sourcing (network required)

Your background

• 6 - 12 years of professional experience
• from a stand-alone or private equity/ hedge fund –owned corporate (min. turnover € 200m) in top-management position (CFO or similiar)
• or from a restructuring/ operations from a private equity or hedge fundIn-depth corporate finance know-how
• Previous financial restructuring experience + experience from bank/ creditor negotiations + steering committee experience
• Knowledge of modern financial instruments 
• Relevant network for deal sourcing
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Hands-on, get-things-done-type of person
• Entrepreneurial approach and mindset
• Ability to cope with board-level management, assertive
• Absolute flexibility, willingness to travel
• Highly ambitious, motivated to proceed your career in an unconventional and challenging environment, being part of and managing a team of outstanding professionals
• Excellent German and English language skills (both languages are required!)
