Type of business: European Venture and Growth capital fund with a strong reputation in the market and capital available to invest Role: Investment Analyst role based in Geneva, working closely with the team, taking responsibility for sourcing opportunities across Europe. You will also participate throughout the execution process and monitoring portfolio companies Skills required: Engineering/ Technology or finance related degree, experience from having worked at a top tier consulting firm or investment bank within a technology team or at a technology focused venture capital fund. An additional European language would be preferable
With offices in London and Geneva, our client is a well known growth investor focusing on companies within the technology sector that have reached considerable levels of revenues and have potential to multiply these. It is a great opportunity for someone to join a small and well established team with funds to invest. This is a Geneva based role and as an analyst you will take responsibility for sourcing opportunities across Europe as well as participating throughout the investment process.
The following skills and backgrounds are recommended to succeed in your application:
Outstanding academic records with a degree in engineering, technology or finance from a top academic institution
Experience gained from having worked at a top tier consulting firm or investment bank TMT team preferable. Some technology venture capital experienced is a plus
This a pre-MBA role, suitable for top ranked analysts and or first year associates or equivalent
Excellent financial valuation and communication skills
Strong command of a European language would be a plus
Have a demonstrable interest and passion for new technologies
Commitment to be based in Geneva
Good eye for investments and a commercial mind
