Ideally you will be either ACA ACCA or CIPFA qualified with a proven track record of success within the Public Sector the following skills are essential including; Knowledge of current public sector accounting and financial regulations Strong awareness of current public sector financial policies, strategies, efficiency agenda, impact of IFRS etc
Ability to interpret public sector accounting policy and adopt to fit client needs Able to present complex financial information in a concise, meaningful and accurate manner to senior management. Has delivered or is capable of delivering training of a financial nature to financial and non-financial members of staff Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
