Main tasks:

• You will report to the Head of Equities & Derivatives and assist him to ensure that the activities in the Front Office are managed in an efficient manner with appropriate level of supervision.
• Your principal responsibilities include running and directing major projects across many lines of business within the Equities & Derivatives department.
• You will coordinate and manage operational issues and processes working in close cooperation with Controlling/Risk Management, IT, Backoffice, Accounting and Legal, e.g assist in annual budgeting, coordinate and interpret risk management reports, develop and help implement new applications in the Front Office IT system, coordinate new product and structured transaction approvals.
• You will identify any process improvement ideas to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes.

• University degree in finance or economics
• Solid Project & Process Management experience preferably within banking / financial services organisation.
• Strong equity, derivatives and trading knowledge
• Experience within a trading environment would be appreciated
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage several projects in varying complexity at one time
• Team player, high motivation, able to work on under pressure
• Excellent command of the German and English language are required
