Tax Manager
Reporting to the Finance Director, the tax manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the groups tax affairs and wider group tax issues. This includes design, implementation and operation of the global procurement organisation including direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, tax planning, compliance and risk requirements. The role will also include collaboration with the finance department regarding business planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting matters, relevant to tax. Some of the key responsibilities are:
Leading the Tax workstream
Driving for maximum tax benefits in the design of the business model and transfer pricing principles
Support development of tax strategy, processes and team structure
Recruitment of the required tax personnel
Support to the Finance Director on all aspects of the design and set up
Knowledge and Experience Required:
Tax management experience, ideally in a multi-national or blue chip company environment
Post graduate tax qualification (Chartered Accountant or similar an advantage)
Sound knowledge of the Swiss tax system and preferably UK
Good understanding of transfer pricing and indirect tax principles
Exposure to different cultures and demonstrable success in getting results in a variety of environments, cultures and locations
Experience gained in commerce or industry
Line and project management experience
