Skill Sets The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of working in the commodity trade finance area with a good knowledge of the physical oil trading process, letters of credit, management of inventory finance transactions and corresponding with relationship banks on a regular basis, We anticipate this individual will have the skills and ability to deal with documents, excel spreadsheets, emails, phone calls and general office correspondence with the knowledge and common sense that they have attained during their working career. Key Responsibilities - Inventory Financing: Dealing with new and existing transactions.
- Liaising internally and with banks to ensure that documentation is up to date, accurate and complete on an ongoing basis. This requires expertise with excel spreadsheets, organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Reporting of Global Inventory Positions to Senior Management and Relationship Banks.
- Assisting as required, senior members of the team with, negotiation of Facility Agreements, Corporate Indemnities, Bank Account Opening and any other Bank documentation.
- Monitoring the status of outstandings, booking of bank line allocations within the Treasury System, processing completed documentation and learning the skills required to review Bank documents.
- Working with senior members of the treasury team and IT department to enhance/develop reporting.
- Assist senior members of the team with general treasury administration duties as required.
Education and Qualifications - The successful candidate will have good qualifications to degree level.
- The successful individual will be from a banking/commodity/trade finance background and will have had previous experience of inventory finance structures (REPO/ Pledge/Borrowing Base).
- We are looking for someone with the knowledge and ability to take initiative in dealing with Treasury/Banking documents and correspondence and who is experienced at liaising with contacts at our relationship banks.
- Knowledge of both physical and financial Letters of Credit/Guarantees would also be beneficial.

- Is resourceful, and has the ability to work on own initiative as well as being willing and able to be an active team member.
- Self motivated, diligent, competent, nurtures attention to detail in all assignments, being organized, analytical, meticulous, flexible and dependable.
- Good communication skills imperative, for liaising with both internal and external personnel.
- Able to understand and absorb new working practices expeditiously, with ability to implement all jobs quickly, yet with a high level of accuracy, whilst remaining calm under pressure.
- Good timekeeping essential.
- Keen to take responsibility for tasks undertaken.
